Dalam rangka hari raya Imlek, ISS bereksperimen dengan dekorasi lampu kustom yang dapat divariasikan dengan lagu pilihan. Inspirasi didapat dari video light show yang dilihat saat Natal lalu: 2025 xLights Around the World. 春節（旧正月）にあたり、ISSは選択した楽曲に合わせてバリエーションを変えられるカスタムライトショーの小実験を行いました。きっかけは、昨年のクリスマス時期に見たライトショーの動画からインスピレーションを得たことです：2025 xLights Around the World。 For Chinese New Year, ISS experimented with a custom light decoration that varies along with a chosen song. The inspiration came from a light show video seen last Christmas: 2025 xLights Around the World.
Meski xLights banyak digunakan saat Natal, ada potensi pemakaian untuk berbagai acara lain, seperti festival musiman (Imlek, Idul Fitri, Halloween), pesta ulang tahun atau pernikahan, dan dekorasi restoran. 現在のところ、xLightsはクリスマスで多く使用されていますが、春節、ラマダン、ハロウィンなどの季節のフェスティバル、誕生日パーティーや結婚式、レストランの装飾など、さまざまなイベントにも活用できる可能性があります。 While xLights is mostly used at Christmas, it has potential for many other events — seasonal festivals (Lunar New Year, Eid, Halloween), birthday parties or weddings, and restaurant decoration.

Karena eksperimen ini berskala kecil, biaya ditekan dengan ESP32 dan WLED open source. Untuk proyek skala lebih besar, disarankan membangun prop khusus dan menggunakan controller dengan spesifikasi lebih tinggi. For larger projects, we'd recommend building dedicated props and using a higher-spec controller. On the computer, xLights software was installed, and music was sourced from royalty-free tracks available online.
Tahap Pembuatan Light Show ライトショー制作工程 Building the Light Show
xLights terdiri dari 3 tab: Controllers, Layout, dan Sequence. Di tab Controllers, WLED diatur sebagai controller yang digunakan. Di tab Layout, bentuk dan posisi lampu LED diatur — foto rumah dapat digunakan sebagai background untuk simulasi hasil akhir. Di tab Sequence, musik dipadukan dengan berbagai efek untuk light show itu sendiri. xLightsは主にControllers、Layout、Sequenceの3つのタブで構成されています。Controllersタブでは、使用するコントローラーとしてWLEDを設定します。Layoutタブでは、LEDライトの形状や配置を設定します。家の写真を背景として使用することで、最終的なライトショーのシミュレーションが可能です。Sequenceタブでは、音楽にさまざまなエフェクトを組み合わせてライトショーを制作します。 xLights has 3 main tabs: Controllers, Layout, and Sequence. In Controllers, WLED is set up as the controller being used. In Layout, the shape and position of the LED lights are set — a photo of the house can be used as a background to simulate the final result. In Sequence, music is combined with various effects to build the light show itself.
